Late congratulations posts for the past 2 prediction rounds coming right away! My apologies for the delay, folks — I just got back from a long vacation with family to meet and spend time with my brand new baby nephew. 🙂 And just before that, I was slammed with work. I just had a great idea! What if at the end of the year, you count up all the points each person got in all of the rounds and whoever has the most round points wins 🏆

I dig this type of idea! This is definitely something we should talk more about — ironing out any kinks and discussing any limitations so we all come to a general consensus/agreement.

I'm open to it, for sure! Anything to keep people more engaged in predictions and excited to interact with each other more. 🙌🏿

Thanks, sounds like a good idea. However, I find one limitation with this. Not everyone goes for all the 5 predictions in one particular tournament, e.g. I may go for all 5 predictions in the Monte Carlo round while you may go for 3 in Monte Carlo and 2 in other tournaments. Assuming that both of us have equal win %, I will have an unfair advantage of being ahead in the Monte Carlo round. Unfortunately TT allows you only 5 predictions irrespective of the rounds you are playing.

I suggest either of 2 options to decide the winner
1. Win %: whoever has the highest win %, wins the round or
2. Points earned for each prediction: total points earned ÷ total predictions

Gael Monfils and Nick Kyrgious

I love this question, and I can think of MANY names (unless we're just talking currently active players who are "running out of time" or past their prime, which I assume to be the case?) If so, I agree with your two names (Nick Kyrgios + Gael Monfils) and I would ALSO add:

▪︎ Grigor Dimitrov
▪︎ Alexander Zverev
▪︎ Stefanos Tsitsipas
▪︎ Borna Coric

I feel like these guys had/have the game to at least steal 1 grand slam in their careers.

Kyrogios was wasted potential, but I never really saw monfils as a chance to win a grand slam. I feel zverev will get one

Congratulations, you now have 22 members.

One observation - only the post joining predictions are considered and not the pre-joining ones. This means, players who joined the league later or midway will never have a realistic chance of winning the league. Any thoughts or ways to include the pre-joining predictions so that everyone has a fair chance. Same problem with my league too.

Though this is not a problem in case of specific tournament based rounds.
