Second title of 2024 for Ostapenko!

The 26-year-old Latvian player won, this Sunday, the 33rd edition of the Linz WTA 500, succeeding Anastasia Potapova (world no. 27). In the final, Jeļena Ostapenko beat seed number 2 Ekaterina Alexandrova, 6/3, 6/2.
After dropping just one set all tournament against Denmark's Clara Tauson (world no. 80) in the second round, Jeļena Ostapenko clinches her second title in 2024 after the Adelaide tournament on January 13th.
These latest results leave her 50 points behind current world No. 10 Karolina Muchová. As a reminder, the Latvian's best ranking is 5th in the world, achieved in March 2018.
