Nadal: "I am 100% sure that I will play Indian Wells"
Rafael Nadal has fallen behind in preparing for his return to competition. While he initially planned it for Doha (from February 19 to 24), the Spaniard had to postpone his return to the circuit.
However, the former world number one remained optimistic about the upcoming weeks. He expressed a lot of confidence in his ability to first participate in an exhibition with Carlos Alcaraz scheduled for March 3, and then the Indian Wells Masters 1000 (from March 6 to 17).
Nadal: "I'm going to keep working to be ready for the Las Vegas exhibition ...
I am 100% sure that I will be at Indian Wells. I don't know if this will be the last time I will play there, so I want to be at Indian Wells, that's for sure. "
I have felt some discomfort in recent weeks and I am a bit at my limit (to play).
At this point, every setback that I endure, every injury, is a hard blow not only in tennis and physical terms, but also mentally."
